Sales Professionals is an organization of individuals who meet regularly to support each other in their professions.  Although our name might imply we are a sales organization, we are mainly small business entrepreneurs or sales people who operate on their own.  Our weekly meetings draw people who range from raw recruits to seasoned professionals, some who have found enough interesting ideas to keep them coming to our meetings for over 40 years.

What would one expect to receive from their membership?

Our members have responded to questionnaires thusly:

1. I get new ideas every week on how to operate my business more efficiently.
2. I receive help from my fellow members in getting new clients.
3. I like the fellowship of other small business owners.
4. I like having friends who are interested in me and help me get ahead
5. Being a sole proprietor it is nice meeting with others and being able to learn from their success and failures.
6. It's like a Masters in Business, however, it's with real people and real businesses.

We have members from those in their 20s to those in their 70s, all helping each other succeed.

In addition, each year our national organization holds a Convention where the newest ideas in business and sales are presented.

Has our model worked?

Sales Professionals has been around since 1955, back then we were known as Salesmen with a Purpose (SWAP). We changed our name to Sales Professionals, towards the turn of the century.
