    I think that what I most care and feel deeply about is the ability to get to know the people in sales pro and really get to know them and trust them.
    It is important to me to be able to feed business to those I know will treat my circle of influence fairly and adequately!

      I agree Mary that is critical to build relationships. We must know, like and trust someone before we will do business with them. Trust is the key.

      One suggestion we are doing up in North Suburban is doing One to Ones. Meet individually with one another outside of the club to talk about how we can help one another's business.

    I see 3 very distinct benefits of belonging to Sales Professionals. First is the relationships we build among the members that become trusted sources of referrals and support in our business. Second is the information we get from the great speakers that we hear every week that help us improve our businesses and our lives. Thirdly is the inspiration - being self employed is not always easy and knowing that we are all in this together is uplifting and encouraging.

      I do look forward to the positive atmosphere that is provided by the club each week. It gives a good shot in the arm to keep pressing on and improving and taking the next step that I need to take in my business.

    ok, I have listened to all the videos to date. Great job Peter. I agree with the comments so far, but I feel that our mission must be updated for the times we live in 90% of the professional groups I am a member of meet via electronics, sharing articles, research and current concepts. We have a annual get together for review of current data and its impact on our practices. Continuing education is now entirely on line, with the exception of national updates. Younger populations are time strapped and will not sit for meeting onsite monthly or even biweekly. Open to thoughts guys!

      Mission is our core beliefs and ideas and what we are trying to accomplish.

      How we accomplish that can be done in many ways including doing online meetings. That is actually very easy to accomplish.

      I would love to hear more about your experience. What groups are these for, what is the specific information being shared, why do you meet, how often do you meet, etc.

      I have professional organizations that I am involved with to meet face to face on a regular basis and have many ages represented. Just look at meetup.com and you will find every kind of group, age, etc. that are meeting on a regular basis face to face.

      The key is that they have a common purpose and vision and know why they are meeting. That to me is the most important thing that we have to address.
